We were asked to look at re-building and expanding this client’s Google activity after a long period of expensive conversions with their existing agency.
At the time the business appeared to target limited keywords in an unsorted PPC account resulting in unreliable conversion performance. We started by re-building the account using modern best practise and expanding around additional keyword verticals to promote a broader range of their products.
We also launched the business in Google Shopping with a hand-crafted sales feed designed for optimal positioning in the results.
The business saw an increase of 190%
Reeds Furniture are a family owned and operated 2 store business based in California established in 1960 that understands the value of catering to families. They now serve four generations of Reed’s guests, with the great grandchildren of their original guests shopping with them. Whether you are looking for the gentle touch of upholstery or the crisp, sleek look of leather, Reeds Furniture is the perfect furniture store for all your living room furniture needs.
This business had a number of technical problems impacting the speed of their site, along with their ability to accurately track profitability of their marketing activities.
We helped them migrate to more appropriate hosting and upgrade some antiquated aspects of their sales processing integration, improving site speed from about 12s to 1.4s. We also helped implement internal templates for product and category content, optimising over 200 products for organic and conversion rate potential as demonstration of the concept.
We then integrated their e-commerce platform with internal CRM and tracking solutions, giving them complete visibility of profitability by marketing channel, category & product. Finally, we launched localised FB & PPC campaigns, targeting increased footfall and the best margin sales. This resulted in a net growth in highly measurable revenue of 37% in the project period.
Lifestyle Furniture, based in the North West of England, are one of the leading online retailers of solid hardwood furniture in the UK. Specialising in selling Oak, Pine, Indian and Painted Furniture, all of their furniture has been crafted from natural wood and hand finished by skilled craftsmen.
This business had been running Google Shopping to produce new revenue for their business but didn’t believe they were getting the value they should be.
Our analysis showed underutilised account structuring and over optimisation of negatives after many years and many cooks, leading to a messy black box of an account overall. After structuring into a new priority-based build and working through a 2-month process of resetting & rebuilding negatives we were able to reduce recorded cost per sale by more than 35% across their ranges.
Additionally, we provided detailed sales analysis that highlighted new potential revenue opportunities, markets & trends to follow that hadn’t previously been demonstrated by agencies before our time. We implemented over 1,000 changes to the sales feed and product pages based on our data, optimising both for the Google Shopping ranking algorithm & conversion rate potential.
The net result of our work was a 45% uplift in revenue against consistent costs.

Established in 1948, James Spencer & Co. Ltd are a fully independent, family-owned business with a long-standing pedigree of quality, customer service and value for money. Based in West Yorkshire with a growing customer portfolio across the UK, Europe and beyond including NHS Trusts, private hospitals, local authorities, housing associations, nursing and residential homes, along with the hospitality sector and members of the general public.
We were asked to measure feasibility of bringing this client’s physical catalogue products online, subsequently implementing a WooCommerce solution to handle the integration. Over the course of 3 months marketing systems were fully integrated with warehousing & manufacturing with advertising across PPC & Facebook launching in month 4.
By month 12, overall sales for the business had been increased by 50% with new online only ranges launched to take advantage of the increased levels of market reach.
